How can I become a member of the library?

Students register for library membership using their student ID card. Once registered, they can borrow materials and use the reading room.

How many books can I borrow and for how long?

Students can borrow up to 3 books at a time for 3 weeks, with the option to renew once for an additional 3 weeks.

How can I renew a borrowed book?

Loans can be renewed in person, via email at knjiznica@kif.unizg.hr or phone at 01/3658 620.

What happens if I return a book late?

If you have overdue books, you won’t be able to borrow new items until all materials are returned. Once you return the overdue books, you can continue borrowing as usual.

Does the library have an online catalogue?

Yes, library materials can be searched through the online catalog.

Can I use computers in the library?

Yes, computers are available for students for literature search and academic work.

Is there a reading room and how is it used?

Yes, the reading room is available for studying and research during library opening hours.

Can I get help from a librarian?

Yes, you can get help from a librarian. Through the Ask a Librarian service, you can get support in finding books, articles, and other academic resources for your papers, theses, and research projects. You can also book a one-on-one consultation for more detailed help with literature searches, databases, citations, and using library resources effectively.

How can I buy a book published by the Faculty of Kinesiology?

Books published by the Faculty of Kinesiology can be ordered in person or online. You can find all online purchase instructions here, and if you choose to buy in person at the faculty library, staff will assist you with available titles and the purchase process.

Can I use the library if I am a student from another faculty?

Yes, students from other faculties are welcome to use the library. Just bring your student ID card and you can use the materials in the reading room. Unfortunately, borrowing is not available, but you can study and use the resources on site.
