Ivan Dominković was born on 4 December 2000 in Slavonski Brod and grew up in Županja, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He began the integrated undergraduate and graduate study programme in Kinesiology at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb, in 2019, and earned a Master’s degree in Kinesiology in 2025. During his studies, he worked as a teaching assistant for the Football course and participated in scientific research. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, he completed professional training in Malta at Siggiewi Rowing Club, where he served as a strength and conditioning coach. He was also a member of the University of Zagreb football team, with which he achieved notable results at national and international university competitions. Since February 2026, he has been employed as an Assistant at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb, within the Football course. In the same year, he took on the role of head coach of the University of Zagreb women’s football team, leading the team to second place at the 2026 European Universities Games in Salerno and achieving a historic result for women’s university football in Zagreb. He is actively involved in scientific research as an author and co-author of scientific and professional papers in the field of sport kinesiology, with a particular focus on football.
